Summary

WP Advisory is a New York City-based consulting firm specializing in middle market merger integrations. We are seeking to expand our small team of highly qualified consultants across the US.

The VP will participate in planning and implementing merger integrations across various industries to maximize value for our clients. The VP will lead various project initiatives throughout the planning and implementation phases.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Participate in the planning and implementation of complex integrations across various industries to achieve maximum potential of deal drivers
  • Lead and assist with various aspects of Day 1 and Day 100 planning, execution, performance measurement, and reporting
  • Lead small integrations or components of larger complex integrations
  • Perform operational and commercial due diligence
  • Provide direct hands-on operational, cross-functional support to help realize deal synergies
  • Identify new synergies and sources of value enhancement
  • Design and lead operational initiatives to achieve value
  • Quantify and report on the success of initiatives
  • Track success of initiatives against targets and recommend integration plan or project plan changes as needed
  • Effectively communicate with and influence key operational stakeholders while aligning the team around goals

Experience and Qualifications

  • 4+ years of consulting experience primarily in merger integration, operational improvements, and change management including development and implementation of integration plans
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or relevant field of study
  • MBA preferred
  • Ability to quickly understand various industries and the unique characteristics of companies involved and complexities of transactions and operational issues
  • Effectively communicate with and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience planning and implementing successful revenue and profitability growth initiatives
  • Ability to analyze data and form conclusions which translate into action items which drive initiatives
  • Work across a wide range of assignments in various industries and handle multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing tasks

  • Ability to build relationships and gain the trust of stakeholders

Compensation

  • Hourly/daily rate commensurate with experience
  • Travel expenses and per diem
