Our Process Improvement consulting services utilizes industry best practice standards including Continuous Improvement (CI), Business Process Management (BPM) and Lean and Six Sigma (DMAIC) to a broad range of industries. ISO standards such as ISO 9001:2015 are also largely based on the Process Approach and are utilized for improvement of core business processes.
An exhaustive effort to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of all business processes is rarely warranted. Our approach is to identify the areas of highest priority, with the greatest payback, and where the recommendations have the greatest likelihood of being implemented.
We do this with a broad-based data collection effort to prioritize the business processes most critical to success and also in most need of improvement. For each selected process, we conduct a framing exercise to:
- Define the process
- Measure process performance using KPIs which focus on process effectiveness
- Stabilize the process (removing variation)
- Improve the process by removing bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and risks
- Ensure that the process is effectively monitored and controlled
